Brenda Santiago

Bio

Brenda Santiago explores how individuals and organisations can expand their powers of connection and transformation. Fascinated by the challenges of bridging and translation in our increasingly globalised world, she creates value for organisations and communities by engaging with stakeholders across private, public, academic and non-profit sectors. 



She works alongside leaders of organisations with concerns ranging from education and training, integrative medicine, fighting childhood cancer, and sustainable packaging to building a circular economy. She has developed and led numerous multi-million dollar initiatives in Australia, Europe, the US and Puerto Rico, ranging from regional economic and community development to medical philanthropy globally. 


Brenda drew on and extended her experiences and insights in co-developing the new Coursera online Leading Transformation: Manage Change program with Professor Richard Badham of the Macquarie Graduate School of Management. (MGSM). 


Brenda is passionate about enabling others to perform through dialogue, communication and action. She brings this passion to her current work as a consultant and advisor to a range of organisations.

A biologist by training, Brenda is one of a few women who has attained the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) board certification (CEcD) and is qualified as an MBA in strategic management. Brenda is an adjunct lecturer on the MGSM Global MBA program.


Brenda is passionate about yoga, Pilates, world travel and Puerto Rico.

  • Designed, developed and drafted a proposal for funding to the Economic Development Administration (EDA) – Philadelphia Region thereby securing the first technical assistance award granted by the EDA Region to Puerto Rico. Once funded, the business retention and expansion project, Puerto Rico’s First World-Class Manufacturing Challenge, focused on an industry-specific technical assistance program for small to medium manufacturers seeking world-class competitiveness in manufacturing through productivity and innovation.
